Intercultural Committee at St. Albert the Great
Our mission is to support existing cultural ministries while building unity through our diversity in the parish community at large.
Some possible means of how we plan to achieve our mission are through:
• Programming: on Saints (St. Philip of Jesus, St. Marianne Cope), shared heritages, common devotions, common liturgical seasons
• Including intercultural practices threaded through into parish ministries such as hospitality, service opportunities, and social events
• Helping to create and foster an environment where people can share their cultural heritages, educating and building understanding
Some possible plans include presentations on Saints from different cultures, different cultural practices of Catholicism, and social events.
We are always looking for new, interested new members. Check back for upcoming meeting dates. All are welcome.
