Ad Altare Dei Religious Emblem presentation

On Sunday, August 10th, during and after the 11:30 Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral, Father Chuck Durante awarded the Ad Altare Dei, the Catholic Scouting Religious Emblem, to nine Scouts from Scouting America.

  • The Scouts dedicated over six months to earn this emblem.
  • They were required to explain what they learned to three adults, highlighting how they can apply their Scouting leadership and what the emblem taught them about contributing to our church.

Although two Scouts were unable to attend, a total of eleven Scouts from our Diocese participated, along with one from Wisconsin, through an online program. Notably, four Scouts are from St. Albert’s.

Scouting America Troop 7322 is honored to participate in this year's Nevada Area Council Recognition Banquet.

We are proud to announce that our former Cubmaster and current Troops/Crew Committee Chair, Kathy Patterson, along with one of our Eagle Scouts, Kevin Fromherz (Class of 2001), will be receiving the prestigious Silver Beaver award. The fact that two out of the three Silver Beaver recipients have ties to both 7322 and St. Albert’s is a significant distinction.

Scouting America Troop 7322 is sponsored by St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish.

Albert the Great Landscaping received a makeover from the Scouts just in time for Easter 2024!
